My Photo shoot Analysis (Jack Burgess)

My photo shoot went alright; there was nothing wrong with any including the model, the location, the props or costume. This photo shoot took place throughout school including, the stair, outside on the benches and in the 6th form area. The models for my photo shoot were Kyle Kitchen, Jacob Kirby, and Harry Short. They were all good models to use. They extremely professional with what they were doing and how they performed

Photo Analysis (Jack Burgess)

3 Best pictures

This picture could be used for my magazine because the lighting is neither too bright or too dark to overpower the model while taking the picture. Also the angle for this picture is also good that it can be used for the magazine. For these reasons this could be possibly used for cover of the magazine.

This picture could be used for the frontcover of my magazine because lighting isn't too dark however to light maybe just a bit too bright to used for the frontcover of my magazine.

This picture could also be good enough to use on the frontcover of my magazine because the angle of the model is right  that pieces of of stories can fit around the model. Even though the lighting is a bit too dark on the left of the picture but could is justified because of the light being a little bright on the right of the model.

3 Worst pictures
This picture wouldn't be used for my frontcover because the lighting is extremely too light to be used. With this it doesn't balance out. Also the angle of the model is wrong because there is too much space left around the model for this picture to be used for the magazine.

This picture couldn't be used for the frontcover of my magazine because the lighting is too dark and wouldn't be suitable for the frontcover.

This picture isn't good enough to be used for the frontcover of my magazine because the lighting too light. Also that the model doesn't seem to be taking much notice to the camera and seems to be taking this photo shoot much seriously.

Front cover analysis HARRYSHORT

Most of the background in my picture is white so I used a light blue text which stands out for the masthead and cover stories. Again I used a light blue for the banner but gave it a glow around the edge using the effects tool in the shape options. For the flash I used a speech box and placed it in the corner because there wasn't a default shape which looked suitable for a flash. I coloured the flash red so it would stand out more from the light blue house colour, again the writing like in the banner is white because it stands out. If I did I again I would make the shapes e.g. the flash not as blocky and have the text in a darker colour and also bigger in the case of the cover stories.

PHOTO ANALYSIS (HARRY SHORT)

INITIAL PHOTO ANALYSIS                                                                              HARRY SHORT

Photo 1

This photo  is probably one of the best  photos I took as the lighting is pretty good  and the model stands out in the picture instead of anything else.   The photo was shot while the model was sat on the stairs in a corridor.  The angle of the photo is good  but not perfect as the photo is not perfectly straight, this could be because of camera wobble while taking the photo. The model hated this photo but I liked it because the model is the focal point of the picture and there are no intrusions from the background.

 photo 2

This photographs is probably the worst I took as there is too much going on in the background which draws the attention of model and to the background. The lighting would be good if there wasn't glare from the laminated sheets behind the model. Probably the only good thing about this photo is that it is a mid shot photo. I did like this photo to start with because of the pose but whilst analyzing it is turned out to be a poor photo because of the background.

Photo 3

This photograph is probably the best one I took as the model stands out in the picture, there are no background intrusions and the lighting is pretty much perfect. One bad point of the picture is the red eye in the model but that could be removed with photoshop. The angle of the photo is perfect and the frame is good too. Personally I think this is the best photo I took. However blog spot would not allow me to rotate the image

Photo 4

this photo is also one of the worst as the lighting is basically no existent the background is more visible and better quality than the actual model who should be the focal point of the picture. The scene would be pretty good if there was good lighting or I used a flash on the photo. The angle and frame are probably the only good points about this photo.

Photo 5

This photo is not the best but not the worst. The lighting is pretty good and there aren't too many obvious background intrusions other than the clock in the bottom right and bright blue poster on the bottom left. There is some blur which could be because of the camera shaking while I was taking the photo. This photo was taken from below a balcony. Blog spot would not allow the picture to be rotated.

Photo 6

this photo I class as the worst because of the awful focus. This photo would have been good if the focus was good, the background is not intrusive and the model stands out in the photo. The model also though this was an awful photo due to the focus. It was set on a railing where the model sat. The awful focus was probably because I moved the camera before the camera had finished taking the photo. Blog spot would not allow for this picture to be rotated.
